# Reddit monitoring for agencies, with a project for every client

Canonical: https://redwatcher.com/reddit-monitoring-for-agencies

**In short**

**Redwatcher is a Reddit monitoring tool that gives an agency one account with a project for each client. Each project has its own keywords, subreddits, scoring rules and alerts, from $29 a month per project, and adding a person to the account costs nothing. A client can be invited to their own project and see nothing else in the account.**

Prices were read from redwatcher.com/pricing and the plan terms from redwatcher.com/terms on
30 September 2026.

[Redwatcher](/) is a Reddit monitoring tool. Tracks keywords, brand mentions and competitors across
the subreddits you choose, scores every match for relevance, and alerts by email, Slack, Telegram or
webhook around the clock. From $29/month per project. A project is one brand or one client, with its
own keywords, its own subreddits and its own alerts. A subreddit is one of Reddit's communities,
each built around one topic. A keyword is a word or phrase you want found, a match is a Reddit post
or comment that contains one, and a webhook is a message Redwatcher sends to a web address you give
it. A relevance score is a number from 0 to 100 that Redwatcher gives each match, with the reasons,
and you set the lowest score a thread needs before it is sent to you. A scoring rule is an
instruction, written in plain words for one project, that changes how its matches are scored. A
thread is a Reddit post together with the comments under it, and a check is one pass in which
Redwatcher reads your subreddits for new posts and comments. Each project has an inbox, where the
threads that reach the score you set are listed for the team to work through, and a Stats screen,
which shows what was read.

## What makes the best Reddit monitoring tool for agencies?

An agency needs a Reddit monitoring tool that keeps each client's keywords, subreddits and alerts
apart, charges nothing for each person on the team, and lets a client see their own results without
seeing anything else. Redwatcher does all three from one account. If client projects are not kept apart, a thread for one client can land in another client's Slack. If
the tool charges per person, the bill grows with every account manager you add. And if a client
cannot be limited to their own project, they either see every other client or see nothing.

Redwatcher is the right Reddit monitoring tool for an agency whose clients' briefs are about Reddit,
that wants the threads that reach the score it sets for each client sent to that client's own channels, and that would rather pay per client project than per person. It watches Reddit only and
is not white-labelled, so it cannot cover a brief that needs other networks, or one where the
client's login has to carry the agency's name.

## A Reddit monitoring tool for multiple clients, one project each

Every client gets a project of its own. You give Redwatcher the client's website and it proposes the
subreddits, the keywords, the client's competitors and the spellings people use for each name, and as you accept each subreddit, it confirms on
Reddit that the subreddit exists.

| What each client project holds | What that means for the agency |
| --- | --- |
| Its own keywords and competitors | Client A's rival never shows up as a match for client B |
| Its own subreddits | A dental client and a furniture client watch different communities |
| Its own scoring rules | A rule you write for one client does not change any other client's scores |
| Its own lowest score a thread needs before it is sent | A busy client can be kept to the strongest threads, a quiet one can see more |
| Its own alert channels | The threads that reach the score you set for a client go to that client's Slack, inbox, Telegram or webhook |
| Its own plan | A small client stays at $29, a client with a wide brief moves to $49 or $89 |

The switcher at the top of the menu moves you between clients, and each project shows whether it is
being checked. On the three plans each project is paid for on its own, so the account holds as many
projects as you add. On the Custom / Agency Plan, a plan for agencies with many clients whose price is
agreed with you directly, the account buys blocks, charged
monthly, and each block adds 100 keywords, 100 subreddits and room for five projects to one pool
that every project shares. Read from
[redwatcher.com/pricing](/pricing) and [redwatcher.com/terms](/terms) on 30 September 2026.

## Does Reddit monitoring for an agency charge per user?

Everyone at the agency can work on the account, and adding a person costs nothing on any plan. Each
person gets one of four roles, and each role allows a different set of changes.

| Role | What it can do, in the words the app shows beside each role (read 30 September 2026) |
| --- | --- |
| Owner | "Everything, plus closing the account or handing it to someone else." One person per account |
| Admin | "Everything except closing the account", including inviting and removing people |
| Editor | "Can change projects, keywords, subreddits and alerts. Can't manage people." |
| Viewer | "Can read the inbox and Stats and work through threads. Changes no settings." |

A viewer can still mark threads as done and correct a score, so an account manager can work through
a client's inbox without being able to change what gets monitored.

## Can a client see only their own project?

Yes. A client can be invited to one project and see nothing else in the account. When you invite
someone, the invitation asks for their email, a role and an access level: the whole account, or one
project only. The invitation email names the project and tells them *"nothing else in the account
is shared with you"*.

A client with access to one project sees that project's inbox, its Stats and its setup. They do not
see the agency's other clients, the list of people on the account, the plan or what the agency pays
for it. Where the agency sees the plan, the client sees that the account's admin chooses the plan
for the project. A client can be a viewer, who reads and works through threads, or an editor, who
can also change the project's keywords, subreddits and alert channels, so a client can connect
their own Slack. A client can never be made an admin, and a client cannot create or delete projects.

![Redwatcher's People card on an agency account, with an invite form set to give one client project, Brightside Dental only, at the Viewer role, and the note that nothing else in the account is shared](img/product-people.webp "**A client can be given one project and nothing else.** Captured 30 September 2026 on a demo agency account. The access field lists the whole account and each client project, and the note under the form says what the chosen role and access allow.")

You can change a person's access later from the same card without inviting them again. If their
project is deleted, they are left with access to nothing in the account. Read in the Redwatcher app
on 30 September 2026.

## Can each client's alerts go to their own Slack?

Yes. Every project has its own alert destinations: email to any addresses you type in, a Slack
channel, a Telegram chat and a webhook signed with a shared secret. All four are on every plan.
Slack and Telegram install in one click, and every channel has a test button that sends a real
message. Slack, Telegram and the webhook get one message per thread. Email gets one message per
check, carrying the threads from that check. [Reddit alerts to Slack](/reddit-alerts-to-slack)
shows what a Slack message carries.

![A Redwatcher alert for a thread scored 94, as a Slack message and in an email carrying the threads from that check, each with the reasons and a View on Reddit button](img/product-alerts.webp "**Email, Slack, Telegram and a signed webhook, on every plan.** Captured 30 August 2026. Every project has its own channels, and every channel has a test button that sends a real message.")

## What can an agency show a client about their Reddit coverage?

Each project's Stats screen shows every subreddit it watches, how much of each was read, and every
check hour by hour, alongside how many threads reached the score you set and how many did not. The
reasons under each score explain why a thread was sent, and when a score is wrong, you say what was
wrong and it becomes a rule for that client. [How the monitoring works](/reddit-monitoring) covers
the checks and the Stats screen in full.

![Redwatcher's Stats screen showing per-subreddit coverage and every check hour by hour](img/product-stats.webp "**Coverage a client can see.** Captured 30 August 2026. Every subreddit a project watches, how much of it was read, and every check hour by hour.")

## What does Reddit monitoring cost an agency?

Redwatcher costs $29, $49 or $89 a month per client project, and each client project has its own
plan. Read from [redwatcher.com/pricing](/pricing) on 30 September 2026.

| Plan | Price per project | Keywords | Subreddits |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Small | $29 a month | 25 | 25 |
| Medium | $49 a month | 50 | 50 |
| Large | $89 a month | 100 | 100 |

Eight clients at Small cost $232 a month, and moving one of them to Large adds $60. The seven-day
trial, with no card, runs on the account's first project, and each project after it is paid for
when it is added.

For agencies with many clients there is a **Custom / Agency Plan**. Its price is agreed with you
directly, through the "Let's talk" card on [redwatcher.com/pricing](/pricing). Its terms say it is
charged monthly per block, and that *"each block adds 100 keywords, 100 subreddits and room for five
projects to one pool shared by every project in the account"*, so a small client can hold a few
subreddits and a large one many more. Usage of the pool is the total across the projects, so a
subreddit watched for two clients counts twice. Read from [redwatcher.com/pricing](/pricing) and

## What Redwatcher does not do for agencies

Redwatcher is not white-labelled: a client who logs in sees Redwatcher's name, not the agency's. It
watches Reddit only, so a brief that covers other networks needs another tool for those. It has no
free plan. It does not write or post replies, so every answer a client's brand gives on Reddit is
written by a person, and [Reddit monitoring without posting](/reddit-monitoring-without-posting)
says what that means in practice.

## What other questions do agencies ask about Reddit monitoring?

### Can I monitor Reddit for multiple clients in one account?
Redwatcher holds a project for each client in one account. On the three plans each project is paid
for on its own, so the account holds as many as you add, and on the Custom / Agency Plan the account buys blocks, charged monthly, each adding room
for five. Each project has its own keywords, subreddits, scoring rules and alert channels,
and the switcher moves between them. Read from redwatcher.com/pricing and redwatcher.com/terms on
30 September 2026.

### How much does Reddit monitoring cost for an agency?
Redwatcher costs $29 a month per client project for 25 keywords in 25 subreddits, $49 for 50 of
each and $89 for 100 of each, and adding a person to the account costs nothing. Eight clients on the
$29 plan cost $232 a month. A Custom / Agency Plan with one shared pool has a price agreed with you
directly. Read from redwatcher.com/pricing on 30 September 2026.

### Do team members cost extra?
Team members cost nothing extra on Redwatcher. Adding a person to the account costs nothing on any
plan, and each person gets a role: owner, admin, editor or viewer. An editor can change projects and
alerts, and a viewer can read the inbox and Stats and work through threads without changing
settings. Read from redwatcher.com/pricing and in the Redwatcher app on 30 September 2026.

### Can a client see only their own project?
Clients can be invited to one project and nothing else. They see that project's inbox, Stats and
setup, and not the agency's other clients, the people on the account, the plan or its price. The
invitation email tells them nothing else in the account is shared. They can be a viewer or an
editor, never an admin. Read in the Redwatcher app on 30 September 2026.

### Can each client get alerts in their own Slack?
Each client project has its own alert channels, so the threads that reach the score you set can go to the client's own Slack channel, their own inbox, Telegram or a webhook. Slack installs in one click, and a client given
editor access to their project can connect their own Slack themselves. All four channels are on
every plan. Read from redwatcher.com/pricing on 30 September 2026.

### Is Redwatcher white-label?
Redwatcher is not white-label. A client who logs in to their project sees Redwatcher's name, and the
alerts carry it too. What an agency can do is give a client one project only, with no view of the
plan, the price or the other clients, and send that client's alerts into their own Slack or inbox.
Read in the Redwatcher app on 30 September 2026.

### Is there a free trial for agencies?
The first project on a Redwatcher account runs on a seven-day trial with no card, and every feature
is on during it. Each project added after that is paid for when it is added, on the plan you choose.
Redwatcher has no free plan. Read from redwatcher.com/pricing on 30 September 2026.

### What happens when two clients watch the same subreddit?
Each client project watches its own list, so two clients can both watch the same subreddit, and each project's matches are scored by that client's rules, and the threads that reach the score you set go to that client's channels. On the
Custom / Agency Plan, a subreddit watched in two projects counts twice against the shared pool, in
the words of its terms. Read from redwatcher.com/pricing and redwatcher.com/terms on
30 September 2026.

### Can a client see what the agency pays?
A client with access to one project never sees the plan or what it costs. Where the agency sees the
plan, a client sees that the account's admin chooses the plan for the project, and the pricing page
of the account is closed to them. Read in the Redwatcher app on 30 September 2026.

/pricing | What it costs | The plans, what every one includes, and how the allowances are counted.
/reddit-alerts-to-slack | Reddit alerts to Slack | The Add to Slack button, what the message carries, and the paste-a-URL path.
/reddit-monitoring | How the monitoring works | Coverage, scoring, and what the Stats screen shows.
/reddit-alerts | Reddit alerts | What a scored alert contains, and the four places it can go.
/reddit-monitoring-without-posting | Reddit monitoring without posting | Redwatcher finds and scores threads, and a person writes every reply, with Reddit's own rules on taking part.
