## What does subreddit monitoring do?

Subreddit monitoring on Redwatcher means reading posts and comments in every subreddit you name,
around the clock, multiple times every hour, on every plan, and telling you when one of them
matches a keyword, your brand or a competitor. Each match gets a score from 0 to 100 and the reasons for
it, and the matches above the bar you set go to email, Slack, Telegram or a signed webhook. Redwatcher

## How do you choose which subreddits to track?

Give Redwatcher your website address and it proposes the subreddits where your buyers talk, along
with the keywords, your competitors and the spellings people use, and checks each subreddit
against Reddit as you accept it. The Subreddits step of setup takes one community per line, as a
name, as r/name or as the full address, and a Suggest more button proposes further ones. In the
screenshot below the example project has seven subreddits saved and six more suggested in the
box, and the screen says the project covers 50, with room for 43 more. Read from

## How many subreddits can you track?

Redwatcher tracks 25 subreddits on the $29 plan, 50 on the $49 plan and 100 on the $89 plan,
each with the same number of keywords, and more than 100 is a custom plan. The count is on the
Subreddits step while you add them, and you can move a project up or down a plan at any time.
Each brand or client is its own project with its own list, so an agency with eight clients runs

## How do you know every subreddit is being checked?

The Stats screen shows whether every subreddit you watch is being checked. A line at the top says
whether every subreddit due to be checked in the period was checked. Under it, the screen shows
how much of each subreddit was read, comments and posts separately, and every check, hour by
hour. If a subreddit stops being covered, that screen shows it the same day.

## What does a subreddit alert look like?

A subreddit alert from Redwatcher carries the thread with the matched word highlighted, the score
from 0 to 100, the reasons, and a link to the thread, in Slack, Telegram, email or a signed
webhook. It is sent when a post or a comment in a subreddit you track matches a keyword, your
brand or a competitor and scores above your bar, not on every new post in the subreddit. You
choose real time or batched per channel, and a match under your bar stays in the inbox, where you

## What does subreddit tracking not do?

Redwatcher does not read subreddits you have not named, does not write or post replies, and does
not cover anything outside Reddit. If a community matters, it goes on the list, and the Stats
screen shows it being checked. For a community you are unsure about, Redwatcher suggests adding
it and reading what arrives for a week: a match under your bar stays in the inbox, where you can
read it, and if a subreddit brings nothing, you can remove it from Setup at any time.

## What does subreddit tracking cost?

Redwatcher's plans are $29 a month per project for 25 subreddits and 25 keywords, $49 for 50 of
each, and $89 for 100 of each, and more than 100 of either is a custom plan. Every feature is on
every plan: the same checking schedule, scoring with the reasons, the Stats screen, email, Slack,
Telegram and webhook alerts, and unlimited team members. When a score is wrong you say what was
wrong, and it becomes a rule. There is no charge per mention, and a large subreddit costs the same

### Can you get an alert for every new post in a subreddit?
Redwatcher does not send an alert for every new post in a subreddit. It reads posts and comments
in the subreddits you name, and it alerts you when one of them matches a keyword, your brand or a

A big subreddit costs the same to track on Redwatcher as a small one. The price of a project is
set by how many subreddits and keywords its plan allows, 25 of each for $29 a month, 50 for $49
and 100 for $89, and there is no charge per mention and no charge for the size of a community.
