About Redwatcher
Updated 30 August 2026
Redwatcher monitors Reddit for the keywords, competitors and brand names a team cares about, scores every match for relevance, and sends only what clears the bar.
1. What the product does
You name the subreddits to watch and the terms to watch for. Redwatcher reads posts and comments across those subreddits around the clock, multiple times an hour, and scores every match from 0 to 100 for relevance in context. Matches that clear the score you set are sent to email, Slack, Telegram or a webhook, each with the reasons behind the number. Matches below it stay in the app, counted, so nothing is discarded silently.
Scoring rules are yours to write, and a score you disagree with can be corrected in one click. The correction becomes a rule that applies to later matches.
Price is per project, at one of three sizes: $29 for 25 keywords and 25 subreddits, $49 for 50 and 50, $89 for 100 and 100. Every feature is on every size. Larger volumes are priced case by case.
2. What it does not do
Redwatcher does not write replies and does not post them. It finds the thread, scores it, explains the score and links to it. The reply is yours. This is a deliberate limit rather than a feature awaiting development.
It covers Reddit only. Hacker News, Lobsters and other forums are outside its scope.
3. How the comparison pages are researched
This site publishes comparisons of other Reddit monitoring tools. The method behind every figure on those pages:
Prices come from the vendor. Every price, tier and published limit is read from that tool’s own pricing or documentation page, not from a third-party roundup or review site. The date each tool was read is printed on the page that cites it.
“Not published” means not published. Where a vendor does not state a figure, the comparison says so rather than estimating one. Of the 65 tools tracked, 36 publish a price.
We have not run every tool’s paid plans. What appears about another product is what that product publishes about itself. Where a claim is about Redwatcher, we are the source and the page says so.
Prices move. The figures are accurate as at the date printed and are not re-checked continuously. Check the vendor’s own page before you pay.
Corrections. If a figure about your product is wrong or out of date, write to hello@redwatcher.com and it will be corrected or removed.
