Updated 20 September 2026

In short

Reddit reputation management is knowing what people say about your brand in the subreddits where they say it, while you can still answer. From $29 a month.

Redwatcher's figures are from redwatcher.com/pricing on 20 September 2026, and the screenshots of Redwatcher's own screens with an example project, captured 30 and 31 August 2026.

How we checked

The prices and allowances on this page are Redwatcher's own, read from redwatcher.com/pricing on 20 September 2026. The screenshots are Redwatcher's own screens with the example project shown on redwatcher.com, captured on 31 August 2026 for the inbox and on 30 August 2026 for the rest. The scores, the reasons and the correction in them belong to that example and are not a measurement of how often the scoring is right, and the $30 budget and the $100 starting price in them are the example's, not prices of anything sold. No other tool is named or priced on this page.

What does reputation management mean on Reddit?

On Reddit, reputation management means knowing what is being said about your brand in the communities where it is said, soon enough to answer it yourself. A mention on Reddit is a post or a comment in a subreddit, written by someone you do not know, and it stays where it was written. You cannot take it down. What you can do is read it while people are still reading it, and answer it from your own account if it deserves an answer. Redwatcher does the first part: it watches the subreddits you name and tells you, with a score and the reasons, which mentions of your brand need an answer from you.

What gets watched for your brand's reputation?

Redwatcher watches your brand and the ways people spell it, your competitors, and the phrases people use when they are choosing or complaining. Give Redwatcher your website address and it proposes the subreddits to watch, the keywords, your competitors and the spellings people use, and checks each subreddit against Reddit as you accept it. A competitor counts as one keyword. Redwatcher reads posts and comments in every subreddit you name. Read from redwatcher.com/pricing on 20 September 2026.

What does a scored alert give you?

A scored alert from Redwatcher gives you the mention, a score from 0 to 100, the reasons for the score, and the link to the thread. Under one thread the reason reads "A buying decision in progress, with the requirements and the budget stated", and that thread scores 94. A thread where somebody is choosing a replacement for a competitor they name scores 88. A job post that names the brand scores 24 and is kept out of your alerts, because there is nothing in a job post to answer. You set the lowest score you want an alert for, and everything under it stays in the inbox where you can read it.

The Redwatcher inbox, captured 31 August 2026. Every thread shows its score, the word that matched is highlighted in the title, and the reasons are underneath. Anything under your bar is not sent, and you can still read it.

When a score is wrong for your brand, you say what was wrong, and it becomes a rule that every later match is judged against. In the example, the thread scored 94 above is corrected to 38. The buyer wrote that they wanted something under $30 a month, and the correction saved in the screenshot below, captured 30 August 2026, records that the example project's own plans start at $100 a month.

How soon do you hear about a mention?

Redwatcher checks every subreddit you track around the clock, multiple times every hour, on every plan, and sends a mention to email, Slack, Telegram or a signed webhook as soon as it clears your bar. The alert carries the score, the reasons and the link to the thread. Every channel has a test button that sends a real message. Read from redwatcher.com/pricing on 20 September 2026.

What does Redwatcher not do for your reputation on Reddit?

Redwatcher does not remove, report or hide anything on Reddit, and it does not write replies or post them. A mention stays where its author put it. You write the answer yourself, from your own account, and that is deliberate: posting under your name carries account consequences that have been publicly reported. Redwatcher also watches Reddit only, so it does not cover review sites, X, Instagram or the press. If you want a service that gets things taken down or posts for you, Redwatcher is the wrong tool. If you want to know what is said about your brand on Reddit while you can still answer it, it is the right one. How to monitor Reddit for brand mentions covers the rules to read before you reply.

What does Reddit reputation management cost?

Redwatcher costs $29 a month per project for 25 keywords and 25 subreddits, $49 for 50 of each, and $89 for 100 of each, with every feature on every plan. Scoring with the reasons, corrections that become rules, email, Slack, Telegram and webhook alerts, and unlimited team members are all on the $29 plan, and there is no charge per mention. Each brand or client is its own project. The trial is seven days with no card. Read from redwatcher.com/pricing on 20 September 2026.
