How we checked
Read off ParseStream's own home page on 20 September 2026. Every ParseStream price, allowance and feature below comes from parsestream.com, which holds its plan cards, its billing switch and its FAQ. There is no page at parsestream.com/pricing. We set the switch both ways and checked the monthly prices against the price list in the page's own code, and the two agree. We have not used a paid ParseStream plan. Redwatcher wrote this page. We took the homepage screenshot on 30 August 2026 and again on 20 September 2026, when it had not changed, and the plan cards on 20 September 2026.
Why do people look for a ParseStream alternative?
Because ParseStream is a different product from a monitor. Its home page describes six steps that end in a reply: it finds a mention, its Lead Detection tags the intent, it notifies you by email, and it drafts a reply in one of four approaches for you to copy and post. Its FAQ says lead generation is the primary win. Read from parsestream.com on 20 September 2026.

ParseStream review: what does its $29 plan include for Reddit?
Twenty Reddit keywords, 20 Hacker News keywords, no Quora, LinkedIn or X keywords, 15,000 credits, one domain and one team seat, with suggested replies, AI filters, lead and intent detection, a subreddit filter, and email and Slack notifications. The card does not say what a credit is, and the FAQ says that when you reach a limit on keywords, credits or brands you upgrade the plan or contact sales. Its FAQ also says it monitors posts and comments across all public subreddits, and that you can restrict monitoring to specific subreddits. Read from parsestream.com on 20 September 2026.
Why Redwatcher is the better ParseStream alternative for Reddit
- Twenty-five keywords in 25 named subreddits for $29. ParseStream's $29 plan has 20 Reddit keywords and 15,000 credits, and its card does not say what a credit buys. Redwatcher's $29 plan is 25 keywords and 25 subreddits, and the two larger plans are $49 for 50 and $89 for 100.
- Unlimited team members on the entry plan. ParseStream's $29 plan comes with one team seat, and the two plans above it come with three and eight. On Redwatcher every plan has unlimited team members.
- A second brand or client is a second project. ParseStream's plans come with one, three or five domains. On Redwatcher each brand or client is its own project from $29, with its own keywords, subreddits, rules and alert channels.
- A score from 0 to 100 with the reason, and a correction that becomes a rule. ParseStream's page lists lead detection that tags a mention's intent as buy-intent, pain-point or competitor complaint, and AI filters you write. Redwatcher writes the reason under every thread. Under one thread the reason reads "A buying decision in progress, with the requirements and the budget stated", and that thread scores 94. When a score is wrong, you say what was wrong, and it becomes a rule that every later match is judged against.
- You write what you post. ParseStream drafts a reply in one of four approaches for you to copy and post. Redwatcher does not write replies and does not post them, on purpose. It finds the thread, scores it, explains the score and links to it.

Which one to pick
Redwatcher, if Reddit is the platform you care about and you write your own replies. The ranked list scores each tool on it at its entry price and says why tools that write replies are left out, and Reddit alerts shows what a scored alert contains and where it can go.
How do you move from ParseStream to Redwatcher?
Copy your Reddit keywords out of ParseStream and paste them into Redwatcher. If you told ParseStream to watch only certain subreddits, bring that list too. Give it your website address and it proposes the subreddits to watch, then choose the lowest score you want an alert for, and pick email, Slack, Telegram or a webhook. Run both for the week of the trial and compare what each one sends before ParseStream's next bill.
