ForumScout's card tooltips say what its own names for these plan features mean. AI filtering is a sentence you write that it applies to whatever a scout finds, and its example is "Only show me opportunities to promote my product". A webhook is an HTTP request ForumScout sends to a web address you give it, once per new mention. Google Sheets sends a scout's mentions into a spreadsheet. Competitive intelligence is a dashboard that compares your share of voice, meaning how much of the conversation names you and how much names a competitor, and compares your sentiment with theirs. Sentiment analysis graphs how sentiment changes over time. Audience insights show which communities your mentions come from and which people keep engaging. AI mention sorting files mentions into categories its AI creates. Emotion analysis, on the $129 plan, graphs how emotions change and flags spikes in one of them. ForumScout review: what does its $19 plan include for Reddit?
Ten keywords, each searched across every source ForumScout reads, checked every six hours, with three months of mentions kept, AI filtering, unlimited seats, webhooks and Google Sheets, and no auto-replies. On Reddit its documentation says it reads "Posts and comments across all subreddits". ForumScout sends alerts two ways. The first is a scheduled email report, and you can set up to five of them, each with its own send time. The second is a webhook: ForumScout sends an HTTP request to a web address you give it, once per new mention. The request carries the mention's title, link, snippet, source, a sentiment value and a match score, which is ForumScout's own number for how well a mention fits the scout, on a scale its documentation does not state.
